Set against the bustling backdrop of Midgard City—now buzzing with modern-day marvels like plumbing and street signs—the plot thickens. But when the Grand Wizard admonishes them for recent exploits, the mood plummets. The team must now redeem themselves and restore balance to a world on the brink.
Jonah’s haunting memory of a flying monstrosity in the Ebon Woods adds fuel to the fire, confirming the gravity of their mission. Their emotional whirlwind continues as they exit the temple, each contemplating their next move.
Vye taps into otherworldly wisdom, uncovering that an Arcane Monster haunts villages like Greenleaf and Stoneshire. Cassius stocks up on essential potions, and Jonah unveils a quirky sidewinder for emergencies. While Phoenix navigates a labyrinth of rumours, Elise and Xamson delve into the arcane, unravelling a perplexing link between Elise and the monster.
United in purpose, they set their sights on Greenleaf as their battleground. With Xamson’s intel, Elise’s provisions, and a makeshift transport sourced by Jonah, Cassius, and Phoenix, they’re as ready as they’ll ever be. Yet, Vye’s magic reveals too much, drawing the monster’s malevolent gaze toward them.
As the curtain falls on this electric episode, our adventurers stand at an existential juncture. Armed with determination but shadowed by the unknown, they set forth to confront the Arcane Monster.
