Jonah hits a snag; his usually helpful network comes up empty-handed. And Cassius? His divine hotline’s dead, leaving him in spiritual limbo. Not to be outdone, Vye works her charm on Kaelin Amberheart, scoring some mystical Elven Bread on a budget.
But then—plot twist! A simple blue jay lures Jonah to Elysia, who drops a bombshell: an Arcane Monster is gunning for Silverbrook. Armed with this dire warning and some spare change, the gang readjusts their compass.
Library-bound, Cassius delves into ancient lore, piecing together the enigmatic nature of their looming adversary. Plans set, they hit the road, only to plunge into a mystical trap—a thicket humming with dark enchantments.
Priscilla charges in and gets walloped by magical thorns. Cassius leaps to the rescue, plummeting off a cliff instead. Yikes! Vye’s fireball goes rogue, nicking Priscilla, while her spells get her caught in the magical crossfire.
Just when it looks like they’re doomed, Jonah locates the fallen Cassius, hoisting him back to safety. Bruised but unbeaten, our adventurers rally. Vye heals herself and taps into the spiritual realm, unveiling their prison—a magical Labyrinth. Elise tries to lead, but her directions only thicken the plot.
Finally, teamwork prevails! The team cracks the thicket’s arcane code and marches on to Silverbrook. But what awaits them is a haunting scene: a town that’s seen far better days.
